About the Book

Stories that nurture resilience & empathy

  • 01This book explores the idea of sonder — the realisation that everyone has a life as layered as yours. It looks at how we see, misread, and sometimes completely miss each other in everyday moments.
  • 02It blends reflections from daily life with ideas from economics and computer science, showing how our patterns, choices, and interactions are shaped by more than just personality.
  • 03Instead of offering advice, it sits with questions: Why do we compare? Why do we distance? What does it mean to understand another person, or ourselves, without assuming sameness?
  • 04The tone is intimate but calm, more observation than narration. Small stories, fragments, and thoughts layered together to highlight how connection can be quiet, subtle, and easily overlooked.
  • 05It’s meant to be read slowly, or in one sitting, like a conversation that lingers in the back of your mind long after. A book for anyone who notices things, or wants to.

★★★★★

"As a reader, Sonder felt like a quiet conversation with my own thoughts. Some pages made me pause because they reflected emotions I never put into words. The book reminds you that everyone around you is living a life just as deep and complicated as yours, and that simple idea hits harder than you expect. It’s gentle, honest, and comforting in its own way. I closed the book feeling a little more connected to myself and to the people around me."
